I485 Approved. But wife is in India..

Hello,
Yesterday Our I485 is approved. But my wife went to India last Sunday. Do she has to come back rightaway or she can come after one month for Stamping on Passport. Or can she can go for stamping in India. If she has to come back from India now. What are papers she has to carry at airport. Pl advice me...

-----if she has valid Visa or valid AP she can enter US before AP expires and she need to go for passport stamping at local USCIS office in US
 
What if the she goes out after receiving approval notice with a still valid AP ? Also, is there a problem to go for stamping at a different place ? Like if the approval is in Tampa but stamping in Boston ?

Ap is invalid after approval, she will need to get a stamp before she leaves else she is in trouble, only if she departed with the valid AP before approval, can she enter on AP under deferred inspection
 
But isnt it the same case as above ? How will they know that we received it before she left ? They dont call and inform us that the 485 is approved and we didnt receive it before leaving.

I hope you are guessing ? Do you know if anything happened with anybody in this type of situation ?

nope dont do that, ask ur lawyer. the situation is completely different. go through the threads and you will find that people have postponed their plans.

But if you still want to take a chance go ahead.

As for finding out, you have the date of approval on the approval notice and eparture date will be noted on the passport when u land in India or wherever.

People have tried to get the stamping done by going w/o appointment etc and explaining the situation(search on user name explorer), they have also gone to different ASC's as well.

But why dont you try it and see what happens. we will know for sure as well.
