Your AP becomes null after I-485 approval. Provide some proof that you need to travel to canada and you will get the passport stamped. I am originally from Detroit and now lives in Columbus, OH. I am a buddhist and wanted to go to Windsor to our buddhist temple (just to visit). My visit was not work related as you can see. I had an email from the temple stating a buddhist function. I took that with me. Yes. I took an infopass appoitment for my PP stamping. Let me know if I can be of any further help.
