Finally I got my passport stamped today in Chicago. My RD is June 2000. My husband\'s I485 got approved in May. Later I got RFE for medical(I was Pregnant that time). Approved on August 12th. Many thanks to our lawyer legal assistant who called INS several times regarding my case and RFE notice. Good luck to you all.

There were lot of people . When I came out at 9.00A.M. people were waiting for security checking to enter the room. Due to last week\'s incident security was tight. Once you goto 2nd floor they will seperate people from I485 approvals to others and take you to separate room for stamping. That lady was taking not even a minute for stamping each person. All INS office workers were very gentle.
They let you enter inside the building at 6.30 and security checking at 7.00A.M. So if you reach there by 6.00, you will be out of building by 9.00 easily.
This is my personal experience.

It took 5 minutes for me
Me, my wife and 2 kids reached INS at 6:30am on Sept 17 and we were out of that building at 7:05am after getting my wife\'s passport stamped.
