I485 Approval Notice Forwarded in the Mail, But Wife\'s Notice still not received

Hi Guys,

My I485 approval notice was forwarded in the mail,
despite having "return service requested" stamped
on it.

However, we have not received my wife\'s approval
notice either at the attorney\'s office or our
home address. The AVM says both our cases were approved
on 01/25/02.

Any other cases of this happening? Does the INS just forget
to send out approvals sometimes?

Try to talk to IIO when 14 days are over...

Good to know that you got your approval notice - if you don\'t get it even when 14 days are over, talk to IIO. And, confirm it with your lawyer, but I\'m very sure that your change of address/state will not matter at all now. Now, it seems that you don\'t even have to tell about change of address as it would get forwarded and/or your lawyer will get it.

I don\'t think its often that INS forgets to mail - but obviously something went wrong in your wife\'s case.
