I485 Approval for EB3/PD 2003

I had an RFE on my I485 and responded couple of days back. As soon as they receive the response, will they process my case with PD's being june 2003 ? People told me they have to adjudicate and close the RFE within some predefined time.

I'm planning my personal things based on this. Can someone gurus !!! pls let me know you thoughts and an approximate date for best case and worst case scenarios.

If your PD is current then it will be approved. The current PD is April 15th 2001 (for India).

If your PD is not current, then this RFE is a sign of the pre-adjuication that USCIS talked about.
You won't get your GC approved unless PD becomes current - not sure if this is a good or a bad thing for whatever you were planning !

Did you LUD change after your response was received? I sent in my response last week and was received by the CIS on 10th July, however the LUD changed yesterday (13th) that the response was received and the LUD got updated today as well where the message stays the same still.

Am wondering if the LUD update is happening on a case-by-case basis based on the PD?

Yes, they have received my response on July'14 2006; and again the same standard message. My PD is June 2003. I don't think it is based on PD's. However you never know their algorithm.

Did the LUD change too? LUD changed on my both AP and 485 for 3 days and so far no LUD change for today yet.

LUD changes was only on July'14; there is nothing after that.
any idea how does it work? will they process the case and put a hold on plastic card untill the visa number becomes current.

Looking at some of the other threads related to the subject, my guess is the LUD changes as and when the case is being touched and some of them have heard some updates on the case in 10 days time during the LUD change.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
 
You mean I485 with PD's in 2003 have been approved ? :cool:
I haven't seen or heard anything like that, pls direct me to the link where you have seen those approvals.

It was weird to me though, but I guess that's the way NSC works :) Some of them were EB2 with PD 2003. With NSC processing, you never know and also there were different threads that also said, they have the files ready so it could be instantly approved once it reaches the PD.

However, I don't trust much on the PD approval as I have seen applicants in the past getting approved with an earlier PD Date.

Will send you the link while searching for those again. Also, it's just my AP whose LUD has changes along with the 485. EAD and 140 LUD stayed the same where as for most of them LUD had changed on all of them.
