I485 approval - EAD gets denied

Just to let you know, I received a letter last week that my EAD renewal is denied because of my approved 485. The letter gives the legal reasons and says that the 551 makes me eligible for work.
No refund of the $120, however.....

It seems that TSC has streamlined their process. Rejection of EAD once 485 is approved means they are actually reviewing these documents closely before approval/rejection.

I don't know if that is good or bad (in terms of time taken)
 
So far the only denial that does not hurt

I regard it a positive move by INS. If they are able to avoid processing unnecessary EADs and APs, the whole process will be much faster than before. I hope they clear all FPed 485 cases. By doing so, EADs and APs will be dramatically reduced. Hope the good cycle come.
 
This is a good sign.

Imagine they approved the EAD after 3 months, literally they approved the EAD for nothing. In the mean time some person who really needs the EAD waits another day. Looks like the process started slowly and lately and hope EAD/APs become current.
