I485 application H1b extension and travel to canada

I am currently on H1B which expires in Nov 2002. I am also in the process of applying for my Green Card which I have stopped at I485 stage. I am also currently traveling to Canada on a Work Permit and would possibly do so till July end.
 
1) If I apply for 485 can I keep traveling to Canada? Can I use my H1B for re-entry or do I have to get Advanced Parole first to do so.
2) If I apply for H1B extension can I keep traveling to canada on my current H1B expiring Nov 15, 2002.
3) Can I apply for both 485 and H1B extension simultaneously.

You can have Advance Parole and H-1B at the same time

I have my H-1B and Advance parole currently. I had travelled to China and come back using my H1B with no problem (at which time I had both already). I am applying for my H1B extension now (the waiting is killing me), from my laywer, it shouldn\'t be a problem for having AP, but she recommend I don\'t use AP to travel if I\'d like to keep my H1B.
 
using visa to re-enter

Hi, there,
did you get your H1B visa stampped in US before you leave US for China or you just re-apply the H1B visa in Beijing directly.
