I485 and EAD

Hi,

I have a valid EAD and am planning to use it to take up a new job. My I140 is also cleared. After using the EAD, if the 485 gets rejected, would my I140 be still valid?

Depends on the reason for rejection. But even if still alive, it would be useless for anything beyond retaining your priority date unless you intend to go back to the sponsoring employer (and they still intend to hire you).
