I485 affect H-1 Renewal?

My Question is: can H1B after 7th year can apply for renewal based on I485 pending? Or do we have to use EAD in this case: after 7th year on H1B?

Get advise from a good lawyer otherwise your case can be messed up at this point.
I believe you should be able to renew your H1 based on your pending 485.

There are only 2 conditions to make H1 beyond 6 years possible.
1. LC is more than 365 days old.
2. I140 is more than 365 days old if LC is not required.

you can use EAD.
