I am a poor post-doc with only 40,000 salary. I notice one of the criteria for EB1-EA is “
Evidence that the alien has commanded a high salary or other high remuneration for services”
When I apply the H-1, this salary is above the prevailing wage, however I think this sounds low income to everybody.
I am in a dilemma, on the one hand I want to get a check mark in this criterion, on the other hand, the salary looks low.
Maybe I just don’t mention anything of the salary.
Thanks for the comments.

salary

I used free salary surveys on the web to prove that mine was upper tier - yours unfortunately sounds low to me, I\'d rather omit

Salary

I used the salary survey published by the American Chemical Society. I made about 10% more than the median at the time and my attorney told me it wasn\'t enough to make a big deal. This is really meant for those who make megabucks (athletes, musicians, etc...). Brian.

Leave this category out

This is meant for sportsmen and entertainers who rake in the millions. I make a pretty high salary compared to my peer group ( far less than a million though ), yet my lawyer asked me to leave this category out in my EB-1 EA petition. Focus on the truly extraordinary areas.
