I140 RFE APPROVED, How long does it take for 485 to get approved

Hi,

My 140 is approved after RFE. How long does it take for 485 to get approved.
Also, how long does it take for approved 140 to be received

Mine is semi-concurrent may,2004

Can you tell me what is documents were asked for the RFE? And also send out your list of dates/LUD for all stages.

I have also received an RFE on I-140 and the mail has not yet been received by the lawyers, so i am very curious.

LC:
RD: May 2001 (Got couple of RFE's in 2003)
AD: Jan 2004
I-140
RD: 5th March 2004
LUD: 4/14, 11/15, 11/16 (RFE on 11/30)
I-485
RD: 25th May 2004
LUD: 7/27, 10/27 (No status change)

It looks like our cases are similar and wanted to know what is the RFE you got and how soon did it get approved.

Why your LC took so long from May 2001 to Jan 2004?
 
Hi lisansw,
Like everyone my case was stuck in labor in 2002 and there was no news about my case. But in 2003 after a few inquires I got an RFE.
They actually compared my case with a subordinate who has a masters. since I have BS + 5 years of experience I was almost forced to go back to EB3. My lawyers wrote back and I could contnue in EB2.
The next RFE was to move my case to Non-RIR. I had to reprove my labor in the market and after we did that I could continue my case my RIR.
It got eventually approved in Jan 2004 finally!
 
Our case got sent to SESA from DOL 3 times :mad: Only congressman helped to reason with DOL. We got our I-140 approved today :) Now wondering how long it is going to take to get I-485 approved :confused:

Any update guys, looks like they have all USCIS guys gone on christmas vacation.... Please post for any 485 updates

Hi needgc1701,
What a painful process! My initial though that was a typo. Good thing is looks like your company is stable. Wish you everything will be normal from now on and get approval soon.

I guess there is no definite answer on this since there is no logical in USCIS. In my case total process time from LC took 3 years and 2 months, my I-140 approved after 2 RFEs in 09/2003 and I-485 aprroved 08/2004. One friend of mine case, his I-140 approval date is even before my I-140 file date, he is still waiting for his I-485 result.
