I140 Revocation

How do you know whether one's I140 is revoked or been asked by employer to revoke..

What i mean by this
<1> Is it revoked?
<2> Or a application from employer to revoke is pending with INS

If you check the status of your 140 with the app#- it comes back revoked or request to revoke pending that would explain itself.
So check the website.

But not always. I know at least two cases where the status was never got updated.
 
I know a case whre BCIS online once showed I-140 Revoked and next day same BCIS showed it was approved (6months back) still it is showing approved

Can the employer revoke I140 by himself or should he use the same lawyer that filed it

--- Employer can send the letter to revoke I-140 any time but USCIS may not revoke the I-140 if I-140 approved ANDI-485 pending more than 180 days and you find the new job. Better use AC21 and inform USCIS
