I140 (Nabraska) Approval in 10 days!!?? (Confused).

Hi All, I'm a new member here and had been going thru the posts. I had some doubt if somebody can clear it that would be great.we sent the FEDEX on 21st Jan and today my lawyer says they have received I-140 Approval (which I doubt)

They have sent me a fax copy of the I-797 which says the case type = "I 140" and Notic Type is "Approval Notice"
I want to just make sure from any of the expert guys here IS THAT THE APPROVAL?.

though It may not help me much since I have not filed the I-485 which has priority date of May 2002.

Please advice guys and Thanks in advance.

Filiing Date: 01/17/2005
140 RD : 01/21/2005
140 ND: 02/01/2005 (Is this the Approval Date)

485: ??? Not Filed Yet Missed it and kicking my self.

Thanks Buddy, Very Happy Today. Approval took less time then I spent in collecting the ocuments required for it:-)
 
I'm still confuse about this whole thing, what I got is really 'Approval' OR just notice of action that they have started working on it.

Since the form I received (I-797) says 'Notice of Action' but in the type it's says 'Approval Notice'.

Does that means I140 approved or they have started working on it. Please pardon my ignorance in this regards very new to this GC terms.

How does the I-140 Approval look like?
 
Goto USCIS.gov click on case status .. online. Enter ur case number.
There may be online status update on ur case.
 
The LIN Status says This cas has been Approved. and the priority date May 2002. (EB3) I missed the I485 deadline :-(.
 
I filed the I140 on Jan 17 2005 and could not file the I485 b'cosue of retrogression.

My Pd on both labour/I-140 are same: May 2002.
 
Congratulations, you are really MR.INDIA amongst so many fellow Indian applicants and others. We had heard of Pilot Program run by CSC, but if NSC has started an Astronaut Program, I'm happy for you and other luckiest ones to follow you. Have an astronomical celebration.

Thanks Guys, Any idea guys how long does it take to move the dates. I have checked the NSC processing times on usic.gov and they are processing July 2002 for I-485 but the the current date is Jan 2002.

What does this suggest?

Thanks man. In this unpredictable process of GC, seeing the lighter and brighter side to events, keeps our sanity. It is for this reason, I dont read anyone enquiring about different anti-depressants in this forum.

You and I, like Mr.India would also one day initiate a thread of our approvals.
