My I140 was approved in 2005, filed 485 in June. Just saw a LUD on approved I140 on 12/15.

Does that mean some officer must have picked up my case ?



PS: I do not buy the theory that there is batch job to touch I40.

what is a LUD?

LUD- Last Update Date :)

You can see it if you create an account on uscis.gov website to check your case status. You will havr to register your case number to this account and when you see your list of cases it will display LUD on it.
 
Hey VJ Dude, I got an LUD on my approved I-140 as well. My I-140 was approved way back in 2004. So I second you on you not beleiving that it is just a batch job.

however I talked to 3 IOs at TSC and one at VSC so far on this I-140 update and no one could tell me why there was some activity and all said the last activity was on my I-140 approval date in 2004. So I dont buy what they are saying, they are definitely lying. I think it is an important step in our adjudication process and we both and others with similar experience might get approvals soon. Keep this thread alive on any other changes on your case. Good Luck.
 
I agree, it must be part of their adjudication process, because we are next in queue based on "485 receipt date" processing dates. It does have some significance...atleast there is some activity.

That many not necessarily mean we will get approved, if the number are not available based on priority date.

Will keep you posted if I see any action of 485 LUDs.
 
I had LUD On my AP which got approved in 2005. The LUD is on 12/15. I don't think it is part of any approval process, When I got approval there wasn't any LUD on my 140 but after a month or so I had an LUD on all my 140 and 485. It seems to me some internal data activities.
 
I have also got an LUD on my I140, which was approved in March 2005. Actually it is my EB3 I140, Later in 2006, I had ported my PD to EB2. There is no change inLUD in my EB2 I140. It is a starge situation.
 
I also got LUD on my approved I140 on12/15/2007. Is this info useful to analyze something.

Folks,

I have not been checking my USCIS account lately since PD is not current.
Today before going to sleep I checked and here is a headache:

I had an LUD on 12/22/07 on my approved 140 and 131 that were approved in
2005.

My name check is clear as of July 2007 and PD is July 1005 with PERM LC.
Should I worry?

mmlulin, I have exactly the same LUDs as yours (see my sig), though my PD bacame not current since Dec....
