Question - I am located in VA, so where will my case be filed if i do a concurrent filing for the I140 and I485. I have heard that all I140 and I485 will be processed in nebraska and texas via the remaining two service centers will focus more on H1Bs.

What are the current processing times for an EB2 based I140/I1485? I checked USCIS's website but the information wasn't accurate (circa April 2005 for I485)?

what do you mean that information was not correct.....do some google search "485 filing uscis" it should take you to 485 page....go to employment based section........

all EB based 485 application are supposed to go to NSC

Like techy2468 said, all I-140/I-485 cases go to NSC (http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/factsheets/BiSpec_063006FS.pdf). NSC might keep your case or might pass it along to TSC.

As for current processing times... First, file your case and wait until you get your receipt. Depending on the service center and the RD, you can estimate processing times here: https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp. That information is not "inaccurate", it's just official ;) Many cases (especially in TSC) get approved way before the schedule. Of course, the less lucky ones get stuck in the name check... It's one big gamble, but we gotta do it. Good luck!
