Travel guideline with I-140 approval pending

Hi all,

I was wondering if its advisable to travel outside the country while I-140 has been filed but is pending approval?
Moreover, how does the situation change in the event of concurrent 140 and 485 filing? Can one still travel?

Mine was filed on 04/26/2006 and got the receipt in 2 weeks

got LIN number on 06/07/2006

finally i got my lin number, though post date is 04/14/2006... receipt date is 06/07/2006.

My I-140 application would be filed today (I mean mailed today). I had a question about the processing.

Do the time estimates for the processing and hopefully approval, is after you receive the LIN number ?
