mine is an RIR case. Labor filed May 2002, approved in dec 2003.

I'm from Maharashtra but not Marathi. JK is right. I'm a female.

Congratulations HDixit ! . Can you please tell how long it takes to get the receipt notice after filing I-140 and I-485 ?

My Employer says that my 140 and 485 were filed somewhere close to july 20 and it is already 3 + weeks now. And i have still not recd any receipt notice from him. I am little tensed because i really do not know whether my case has been filed or not. Do you think it takes more than 3 weeks to get a filing receipt for 140 and 485. Pls let me know your comments.

i'm sure if it takes so long.... i took a week or at the most two for us to get receipts.
 
Difference between RD and ND ?

Congratulations !!!

Can you pls explain what is the difference RD and ND ?
I believe RD means "Receipt Date" and ND means "Notice Date "
