I140 Done....

I140 got approved in exactly 3 months. Details are as follows;

EAD/AP/I140/I485 - All filed together on 07/20/2004
RD: 07/26/2004
ND: 07/29/2004
EAD/AP - RFE on photos
LUD on EAD/AP: 10/21/2004 - "Response received etc."
LUD on EAD/AP: 10/26/2004 - "Same message as before"

I140 LUD: 10/26/2004 - says the following;

"This case has been approved. On October 23, 2004, an approval notice was mailed etc." No RFE's of any kind on I140.

I guess, the next step is just to wait for FP notice (??).. Not sure how long it would take for I485 to be approved but I cannot complain with such fast approval on I140....

My Dad's application is I-140 as well (Alien w/Extraordinary Ability) and the Received Date is January 2004 and we still haven't gotten anything back from them in Vermont. I see a lot of people here getting those approved in apprx 3 months. Are those different I 140s or why is ours taking so long??? Can anyone please advise?

Oh, we with EB1 (extraordinary abilities) will have to wait a while! Have you noticed that the ones being approved in a month, two months, three months, even half a year are EB3s or cases pending since 2003. EB1 priority dates are September 9, 2002. We, unfortuntely, will have to wait a while.
