I140 Copy

How long does it take to get our 140 copy after we submit our FIOA? Its been almost 2 months now since I submitted. Any idea?

Incase if we change our address and gave forwarding address to Post Office, does our 140 copy gets forwarded to our new address.

Update on my FOIA

I got my I140 approval today. In the approval copy, its the 140 form that was filled up by the company with a seal on it "Approved". Is this the approved copy that the employer also gets, or does the employer receive something like the original receipt notice, having our EAC number with status approved.

Anyone received their I140 copy using FOIA, got the way I got it(the 140 form with approved seal on it) rather than a proper format from INS?

I received my I140 approval copy using FOIA last week. When I looked at my 140 approval, I saw the 140 form that the company normally fills it up, the same form with an approved seal on it.

Is that everyone gets this kind of approval copy? I was hoping to get an approval notice something similar to the one of the receipt notice?

Correct me if I am expecting something that INS wouldnt send when using FOIA?

I did get my labor copy too along with the approval notice.

I also got the copy of 140 about a week back. Since, 140 is not yet approved or denied, the action block is blank.

Where did your 140 had the approval stamp? I assume it would be in the action block.

In my case, there are no remarks or stamp to indicate if any action had been taken on it yet.

Mine is the case where the company had sent withdrawl letter on March 17, 2004 and I had sent my AC21 letter to counter that. The LUD on 140 had been updated atlesat 10 times in June and July.

However, the copy sent to me by USCIS on Sept 10 does not indiacte any action yet.

Could you calrify in your case if there were any comments or trail of actions or only approval stamp? Thanks.

It just has an approval seal on the Office Use only field on 140 application form, with my EAC number on it and it has the director signed on it with the date ofcourse.

I also got a copy of the approved I-140 and labor from USCIS vermont. I have used FOIA 2 months ago to get these documents.

Does your 140 approval looks like the original 140 form that the employers fill it up, with a Approval Seal and sign from Vermont, or does it look like the receipt notice with United States of America logo on it?
