Hi Guys,
I’m silent observer on this forum. I want to share my joy with other forum members :D . My I-140 got approved. I’m in the process of filing 485/EAD/AP.

I140 approved at TSC after RFE on Permanent position

Congrauts gc_when2004!

I have been following this forum for a long time..I would like to thank everyone for their inputs..it helped me a lot to respond to RFE.
I just received e-mail notification that my I140 (EB1-OR)has been approved at TSC after sending response to RFE. RFE was on Permananet position offer letter. Originally I submitted a letter from the HOD. In response to RFE, I submitted another letter from him along with 2 more letters (one from my boss another from the research dean of the college) detailing the history of funding for the program.
Permanent position matter is becoming a common problem in TSC also..if anyone needs suggestions with this, I would be glad to help.

Because there have been no lot of LC approvals since this year, I-140 is getting a quick approval. Enjoy.
 
Employment Status during 140/485 stage

Hi guys,

My application just got moved to the 140/485 stage. My question is during this stage are you allowed to change jobs within your company? Furhter what if the job description is different than the one that you applied your GC with? PLEASE HELP....

You can change your job if your 485 has been pending for more than 180 days and your 140 has been approved. But you cannot move to a job which has a very different description that what was filed in the LC - minor variations are always acceptable.

follow up

my 140/485 was filed concurrently 3 weeks ago. The new job description is similar to my current one and it is in the same company but with a different org. do you know if i can do that? or does the 140 approval and 6 month 485 pending rule apply here as well.

when did you file your 485? How many days TSC is taking to issue case numbers?

Isn't it weird? TSC is taking so long to issue case numbers. Let’s keep posted. I am also waiting for case numbers, it was sent out on June 1st.
 
GC battle,

are you waiting for case numbers for both 140 and 485. I have seen examples in some forums that mention about people who got their 140 approved in less than 1 month through TSC. They had a RD of 6/7 and a 140 approval date of 6/28. you might want to check that out.

It was only 485. 140 was approved long back. My lawyer spoke to customer service they said it may take up to 8 weeks to receive receipts.

Please keep us posted when ever you the case numbers.

140/485/131 - ND 15th June 2005
Advance payrole AD 14th July 2005
EAD RFE 14th July 2005 ????

1. Does any one know how much time its taking for I140 approval for concurrent? Online it is showing for 400 days.
485 its showing 900 days.:(

2. I dont know the details about the RFE on EAD? Can any one share
the possibilities.

I too filed I 140 on same date. received SRC # ..no lUDs after that..Any update on your case ?
 
Received Receipts for 140/485

I have filed 140/485 concurrent at TSC on 7/26/05. Any Guess on 140 approval.

I-140 LUD: 7/26/05(self)
AP LUD: 09/30/05 (self,RFE photos received)
EAD LUD: 09/27/05 (self,RFE photos received)

Bio metric: code 3- 10/02/2005 (me & wife)

I-485 LUD: 10/4/05 (self)
I-485 LUD: 10/4/05 (wife)

AP LUD: 09/14/05 (wife, approved)
EAD LUD: 09/21/05 (wife, approved)

11/07/05 - calles USCIS and started enqurity on I140 and it
takes one month to get the feedback)


Any one knows why delay on my I140?

45 days letter received: 4/15/05
Labor certificate approved :9/12/05

file I-140 & 485:9/23/05, USCIS received :9/26/07

I-140 approved: 11/17/05
EAD approved: 11/15/05
