Just got email from the lawyer, they got the approval notice for my I-140. I-485 still pending though.

Congratulations ycning:) And good luck for your I485.
 
This is a good case to look at. USCIS has categorically stated that they will no longer link the 140 and 485 processing any more. Hence 140 should be processed earlier. However in this case since the 485 ND is around may 05 for which they are processing 485's right now, if his 485 approval comes soon, it will show that they are still linking the applications and not processing 140 till 485 becomes ready to be processed else otherwise the 140 should have been processed a few months back ..

Pls keep us updated on your 485. congrats on the 140 approval.
 
Not many approvals from CSC lately. Its moving slow.
BUt processing dates shw they are working on June 2004 cases...
 
CSC totally fooling us. moving very slowly.

Finally, I received my GC (yes, the physical card) today in mail. Thank god the painful journey is over and you guys for all the valuable information, I wish you all the best and get your cards ASAP!!! The following is case details. My company is small start-up in bay area.

12/2001---------LC filed.
12/2003---------LC approved.
02/2004---------I140 filed.
05/2004---------I485 filed.
02/03/2005------I140 approved.
02/11/2005------Received the notice for biometrics.
02/18/2005------ASC took my regular ten fingers's finger prints by mistake.
02/25/2005------Went back to ASC for the biometrics.
03/07/2005------Received the GC in mail (haven't received the I-485 approval notices and the I485 online status still shows no sign of approval).

wow...does that mean that you did not go for a 485 interview (scheduling a infopass)....this is something totally new...getting the GC in mail without online approval or a interview. Anyway, why would you care....when you have the physical green card in your hand. Congratulations to you.
