My I140 was approved yesterday
ND 1/6/05 AD 2/22/05
EB2 Labor Sub

goodstart, congrats, but how could this be? EB2 and 1/6/05? There are people still waiting from 2003. Are there any special circumstances for you?

I am not sure how? But I am very excited that its been a very quick approval. Labor priority date sep 2001. May be they have processed with original priority date.

I am still waiting on wifes EAD and AP approvals. Only LUD's on her
I765 LUD 2/21/05 2/22/05 2/23/05
I131 LUD 2/21/05 2/22/05 2/23/05
She already has an F1 EAD , I hope that donot pose any problem.

EB2 - 485 approval.

Guys -

Here i just want to update on EB2 cases, If your i-140 has been approved recently and FP is done and you will be likely getting the I-485 within 4 to 6 weeks(max) and also it depends on your prirority date. Mine is approved exactly one month after my I-140 got approved. my PD is June2001.

and also if you have kids, they don't need stamping and will get the 'card' directly. Just want to share with you. (also don't worry about the Updates/date changes on your portfolios, if dates are changing means..they working something on your case)

Spouse has not received EAD or AP only LUD's on 2/21/05, 2/22/05, 2/23/05
I485 No LUD

EB2 - 485 approval.

Yeah..in my case FP done on Nov5th and my I-140 approved later in Jan 2005. Exactly one month after approval of 140, my 485 is done.
So i am hoping for you guys also...who got 140,Fp done...surely will get 485 soon.

I got FP notice within a week time after RD

My I140/485/EAD/AP RD is 2/14/2005.
ND is 2/17/2005
FP Notice date is 2/24/2005 (FP Has to be done on 3/10/2005)

What does this mean? Is this FP just for EAD and AP? Or even for I140/485 too?

There is no FP for EAD/AP. FP is a part of 485 processing.

Then does that mean my I485 application is active with the VSC.

Your are lucky. FP notice issued only after 10 days of RD. In which category your I140 is filled (EB3 or EB2) and what is your Priority Date(PD) ?
 
Great GC what is your RD date for I-140/485??

I got my I-140 approved last month and also for Finger printing done two weeks back, My PD date is March 2002??


Do you think i will be in the next ??

I don't think so...Please provide me your input??

it is true and happening. My 140 was files in feb 2005 and approved in feb 2005 itself. Looks like INS is helping all of us coz of long waits in Labour itself. I waited almost 3 yrs for my labour to clear from NJ . Thank to INS , 140 got approved within 3 weeks under EB2.

wow...that was quick. Congratulations. I guess you should post this in "Unbelievably Fast Approvals" thread as well. Good Luck with your 485.
