I had been calling BCIS constantly every 30 days and have been performing inquires and at all times their response was somebody will call you from BCIS for this inquiry. But I have not received any calls. I just had to wait and wait and wait. And finally it got approved after 2 years.
Oh one more thing that happened that's worth mentioning is that I called BCIS for change of address for the 3rd time, as I did not receive my EAD and thought probably they have not changed my address. The last time when I called was just one week before my I-140 approval. Probably this time they changed the address and finally I-140 got approved.
High5 . Please share the numbers and procedure you followed to contact BCIS. Did you open case query or your employer?
Also if you could share any insider information it will be helpful. I am stuck in a similar situation like your were a week ago.
High5,
Congratulations.
Is the BCIS tel number for change in address same?
I sent my residence change in address request but am not sure if they have changed my address yet.
High5 my EB3 I140 case is pending since March 7, 2003 and I am trying to pursue the most effictive way to get BCIS to process my case. I have opened case query but from what I understand from you and many other users of this group that it is useless. So I am looking for some way to get BCIS to work on my case.. since you have been through a long period of frustation I just wanted to find out any innovative / secret ways / method you might have come accross to get BCIS attention on your case.
Also I am trying to find out why some cases are left behind.. In my case I did send an amendment to my I140 case.. just trying to understand the system.
