I140 Approved according to OnLine and Phone Automated Systems

Hi All!

For my surprised I checked today my I-140 case and the online and phone automated systems said that my case has been approved today on May 07, 2003. I'm very surprised since I checked last week with Immigration officer and she told me that my case was't even assigned to an officer. We happened to file I485, EAD and AP just on April 17, may be it forced them to look at my I140 case, that's my guess.
Case Details:
LC filed on Jan 2001, approved may 2002.
I-140: RD. 08/05/02 ND 08/06/02. Hopefully approved on 05/07/03 (I only believe it when get approval copy from lawyer)
I-485, EAD and AP: RD 04/17/03 ND. 04/18/03
EB3 RIR. Very Small company 6 employees. Consulting in Chemical Engineering field.
~20K net profit in 2001, 2002.

My I140 and 485 filing dates are very similar to yours. How can I sheck the status of my I140 online. Apart from the fact that the lawyer sending me a mail saying my I140 was filed on such and such a date, I have no other info on it. What info about the petition do I need to check the status online? Let me know.

Ask your lawyer for the receipt number from INS for your I-140 and all your cases, and you can go to this URL to check the status:

https://egov.immigration.gov/graphics/cris/jsps/index.jsp

In case of texas service center (that's where my application was filed) is something like SRC-02-XXX-XXX-XX (Total 13 characters including the SRC)

Thanks jarv. Immediately after I posted this question, I asked my lawyer, and I got the receipt number. Turns out my I140 status still remains the same. Not approved yet.

140 reciept....

I filed my 140 and 485 concurrently and got my reciept notices for 765/adavance parole and 485.I did not get the 140 reciept i.e my lawyer did not recieve any thing.Will there be any delay in issuing the 140 reciept notice.I filed all the documents at the same time.BTW who will get the 140 reciept notice will it be me or my lawyer?
 
The lawyer should get receipt for I140 since it's an employer application in your behalf. You should get I485, EAD and AP since they are your applications (not employer's)

I think in my case took 2 weeks for the lawyer to get the I140 receipt
