I140 and I485 Moving Fast

The current processing dates for both I-140 and I-485 are June 4th. There should be a lot of approval nowadays even for last year's applications. Can anyone that got approvals please share your up-to-date experience? A reception date and approval date would help.
 
USCIS processing date is used to show Congressman only.

I-140/I-485/AP/EAD - RD :6/18/04
I-140/I-485/AP/EAD - ND :6/23/04
FP done on 8/26/04 (2 FP notices received for me, 1 for Spouse)
EAD (Myself and Spouse) - Approve Date: 8/25/04, Paper recd. 9/3/04
AP (Myself and Spouse) - Approve Date: 8/13/04, Paper recd. 9/3/04
I-140 LUD - 12/20/04.
I-485 LUD - 10/27/04

Is there any movement on your 140? Its being said that
no more concurrent adjudication. So your 140 should be
adjudicatied now. Any LUD change of anything?

Or is those dates are for Congressman?

My I140 & I485 got approved on Feb02 2005. I applied concurrently on may 24 2004.

I don't see any movements on my 140. The LUD on 140 is still May 7 2004 and on 485 is Oct 27 2004. Though officially the concurrent adjudication has been stopped but I still see a lot of cases being approved concurrently. I feel they'll not approve 485 concurrently only if the name check is pending.

I am in EB3 from VermontSC.
I-140 is approved April 2004
I-485 ND/RD is May 17 2004

Still no finger print . this is strange. Is the company lawyer involved in this foul play. Are there any similar cases like me?

I140/ 485 RD:1/13/2005
I140/485 ND: 1/24/2005

I140 approved: 2/12/2005 :)

Spouse:
I485 RD: 1/13/2005 ND: 1/24/2005
EAD RD : 1/13/2005 ND: 2/1/2005

Notes/Questions:
1. My laywer didn't file AP for us, and EAD for me(the main applicant) until I submitted the request for AP application last week. Paper work is being processed. I was told that AP is applied based on request by the laywer.
2. My questions is what I need EAD for? ( it is a basic question, but bare with me, and please help me with your answers.)
Is Labor Certificate a different concept from EAD?
3. Which service center should I check with? I work in NY. My guess is Vermont?

I-140 question

I noticed that CSC is now processing I-140 cases with receipt date of June 2004. Mine has a receipt date of April 2nd 2004. My attorney made an enquiry on my case to which the CSC agent said the case was already in the processing mode and a 'A' number has been assigned and several other processes with outside agencies are going on simultaneously.
What does this mean? Does this mean that they are processing my case now or is this similar to a standard message seen on the website(i.e. processing has resumed on your case...)?
I also noticed LUD of 2/15 on my I-140 petition. I don't know if it means anything.
Please let me know.
 
I-140 and I-485 processing date is now June, 30, 2004. Comparing with previous processing date on 02/09, it has advanced for 23 days over a 15-day period. Quite fast.
 
I am very skeptical about the processing dates put up by CSC and even more skeptical about the progress shown by CSC. There are folks from March who have no indication what's going on with their application

Still a Good Indication

The processing date is now 08/02/2004. Last time on 02/25/2005 it was 06/30/2004. Considering it advances 33 days over a 11 days period, I-485 processing date would be "current" after four months. :cool:
 
Discrepancy between I-140, I-485 Dates

It appears that I-485 processing date is lagging behind that of I-140. Is it possible that I-140 is progressing so fast that backlog is building on I-485? Still, both are fast...
