Hi Everyone,
My mom filed a I-130 petition for me in 2008 as a permanent resident filing for a child over 21. We got the receipt notice, then a notice saying the file was transferred to the Missouri office early this year. At the time my mom applied, I was on an H-1b visa. Does anyone know why a case would be transferred to that office and what the processing time is for there? I got a notice today saying that the case was approved and I should wait to hear from the NVC. Is this where the long wait starts? Would the transfer affect my waiting time? I am no longer on an H-1 B visa and now has a B visa.
