Hi,

I am a software guy working for a company in India who has deputed me here in the US for about 2 years now. I am on H1B.
My grandmother is a citizen & so is her daughter. My grandmother has applied for a "I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN" visa for the rest of her children including my Dad. He has also received a confrmation letter from USCIS assuring him that the visa is being processed.
Would this visa mean that the next time i go to India for my stamping, it would get rejected? My mom recently tried for a B1/B2 visitor visa which was rejected as the counceller in Chennai told her that her B1/B2 visa does not qualify when her F-3 or I130 was being processed. She also said that all her children (includes me) also have their F-3/ I130 under process.
But i have not received any notification from USCIS. Can i still go for my stamping in India or Do i have to suffer the fate of my Mother? Please let me know.

Thanks
