Hello everyone,

Did anyone filed an I130 with the Vermont service center for over 6 months and is still waiting for an approval. Please does anyone know what i need to do to make the case faster. I filed on July 9th 2012 and anytime i call the customer service 800 375 5283, they keep on telling me still in the normal timing range.

Who are you filing the I-130 for?

According to the latest processing table, Vermont was processing I-130 filed by USC for spouse, parent, or child under 21 submitted on May 28 on November 30th.

One issue about the processing table is they are six weeks behind with posting them and the contractors that answer the phone at the 800 number lead to you believe this is the latest information based on the date the table was posted January 4, 2013 but neglect to mention that the table is based on a processing date of November 30th.

I filed for my wife.. processing date of November 30th of what year ?

i really dont know what to do. Before it takes 3 months to get approval for I-130 but now people are still waiting for more than 4 months

Sorry, the processing dates where from 2012, so on November 30, 2012 they were processing cases from May 28, 2012.

The current average for Vermont is 6.2 months. The national average is 5.5 months with a national goal of 5.0 months.

Citizenship

Hello everyone
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me already. My concern is that I was 14 when my dad applied for his citizenship, somehow, when we received some paper they gave me the same age as my brother. So it ended up taking more time story to get our age fixed. My dad recently took his oath, and he also told me and my siblings that we are citizens too. What I would like to know is that now I am 20, does that mean I can still be a citizen under him as the process started when I was 14 or 15? He told us that we had to go to the court to get our American passport
