I130 approved while GC now citizen

Hi,
Spouse I-130 was approved while GC.Spouse in US on H-1B.
Currently in the process of getting US citizenship.
What is the process to upgrade spouse application?Since I-130 is approved, can we apply for 485 immediately after my citizenship coems thru?
Any thoughts?Experiences?

A> You have to call uscis and update the case. Rest taken care of.
also call NBC and update the case too.

A> Yes you can apply immediately once oath takeing is done you are treated as citizen then you can call and update the case also apply for i485.

i am getting confused.

I am in Miami.

Now there is Texas center (TSC) where i had been applying till my citizenship.

Then there is Miami DO.

Then there is NBC (benefits center/ web sites talks about chicago lock box)
And, also there is NVC.

My wife is in US w/ I-130 approved.
I need to apply for (after I-130 upgrade) AOS for her.

Am is supposed to apply to chicago lock box (NBC)??
please help!
(all along i was thinking of applyig to Miami DO)

upon some looking up i found the info below.
meaning my apps go to chicago. There are 2 address , i guess the other is for FEDEX etc..I prefer thru USPS.

Website also says for dallas/el paso/oklahoma applicants, they have to apply in person.


(any way just as an aside, are employment based I-485 going thru only one center (nebraska) now as against 4 differrent center before..These rules change on a dime!!..

It was very informative. I have a follow-up question.

The interview for citizenship is done and am waiting for the Oath scheduled on August 8th. Do I have to upgrade the I-130 at USCIS right away or wait until after the Oath (when officially US citizenship is obtained)?


Does the case have the same number at the national benefits center?

Does it help to get an info pass right now to get information on this process or will I just be wasting my time?

Does it help to get an info pass right now to get information on this process or will I just be wasting my time? Your choice.

Remember you will need to include a copy of your naturalization certificate when you file the I-485 for her.
 
For those of you who have upgraded and then submitted I-485 on a previously approved I130 also what are the timelines looking like?
