I130 and K3 for spouse

Folks, I just become USC and want to bring my wife here.
So my understanding is to file I130, wait for I797. Upon receiving
I797 of I130, file I129F for my wife. Then once I129F approved,
she can come with K3 visa.

The other way is wait for I130 is approved, and once immigration visa
granted and she will come here with GC status (?).

Is this still the case?

The other questions are how long normally each process takes?
Which is faster in reality ?

Both avenues are open to you. Which process is quicker will depend on the service center and the consulate you use. Everyone's mileage will vary.
