bobsmyth & Vorpal made me do it :D

I tried the 1-2-6 it does not work anymore so i just did 1-2-2-3 and i LIED  i told them i did not receive a receipt and that i applied in June. Then the rep asked me if i was a veteran or a Veteran dependent & I answered no then she told me since I've been waiting for more than 30 days that she has to transfer me to another customer service rep. I started to wonder because i thought i was going to talk to an IO why is she going to transfer me to another rep. Anyways i was on hold for about 10 minutes listening to elevator music then someone answered and he said "This is officer Castro how can i help you?". Once i heard the word officer i got happy. And i asked him all the questions in the world. His system was slow & he kept apologizing about it & i told him its ok because i am at work too then he laughed at that comment & said well at least we both are getting paid. here are the questions I asked & his answers:

1- I asked about the status of my case. Then he asked for My full name, my mother's first name, dob & A number. Then he said that the Fingerprints was cleared but he said that my name check says pending & he sounded surprised about that ( i wanted to tell him that most of the people on immigrationportal forums have the same issue :P but i didn't want him to know about our secret organization). he told me to check back every 2 weeks & that my DO checks the Pending name checks every 2-3 weeks. which in my opinion is a long time.

2- I asked him about the change of address that i moved and i changed my address with USCIS but that i was only asked about my mailing address and that i want to know if USCIS would want my new physical address. he said (we just want to have the address where you can receive our mail) which in my opinion sounds odd to hear from an IO.

3- I asked him again about the name check process and how long should it take. he said that the FBI is a 3rd party they have wait on and He said that the background check is 4 steps: Fingerprints, Name check & the other 2 are much less intense :P

4- I asked him if i should contact the FBI he said that he does not know if FBI would give me information about my name check.

That was it & he told me good luck & have a good day

P.S. during my wait on hold i got a bit worried what if the officer answered yelling saying "you guys need to stop doing these tricks " lol

That's good to know that you got confirmation letter about your address changes, but after I read your timeframe, you have plenty of time to receive the interview letter.

FBI may not give you your namecheck results or fingerprint results due to the privacy policy and security policy.

Good luck!

Good to hear it worked for you. Unfortunately FBI will only give name check results directly to agency (USCUS) who initially requested them , but FBI can tell you if your FP results have been sent back to USCIS.
