It has been a long time since somebody got approved, or they get their GC's and now they don't care about us poor things.

I dont think you should be complaining in my opinion. You are in good shape with the cap removal and you shouldn't be expecting anything yet..Maybe another 1.5 years for you in my opinion..

Hope is not reality. The HOPE is that you will get your GC one day. In the time-being, get an education or work harder..Things you can't control won't help you. Its understandable if your approval is around the corner as per other people's history but if its really far away, its good to not focus on it and lose your sleep over it...


I wish by giving hope we all would gget a GC but its not possible..

its not about pessimism....its about understanding reality of dealing with CIS and not destroying your life. For example when I applied for GC in 2000 I thought that I should start a business when I would get my GC. But then I did not wait. Had I waited then I would have been sitting staring at sky till now cuz I still don't have my Gc.
 
maco, regardless of what others are saying here, you will be approved in couple of months. You wanna bet? I will take you to a nice dinner place in Bgd in around May OK?

Well, in the difficult times, sometimes all we have is a H. O. P. E. there is nothing wrong with you having that, you'll get approved soon. Potpuno se slazem sa Samirom. Zivi svoj zivot kao da si dobila GC, a u medjuvremenu gledaj da uvijek i redovno obavjestavas USCIS o promjeni adrese, kad god ti posalju bilo sta cak i ako si to vec odradila recimo prosli mesec - uradi ponovo. Sve sto saljes u USCIS, salji Express ili Priority sa Return Receipt Required. S tim sebe pokrivas i imas dokaz da si poslala ono sto traze.
Loking at your time line, it is a very good thing that USCIS working on your case. Also you posted a question in one of the threads about LUD, IT IS A GOOD THING THAT YOUR LUD IS CHANGING, someone (read; an IO is looking at your case). Good luck to you.
