Here is the story
Here is our situation:
1. We both work in a University.
2. Her H1B started 2004.
3. Her Perm filed Aug 2005, denied May 2006.
4. My H1B starts this summer.
My question:
If I do PERM through College professor special handling, and later we filed 140 together. Will she be able to extend her H1B? If not, I guess we need to find her some other way to file.
Any other suggestion about what she can do now?

------------ did she enter US on H1B? or was changed from H4 to H1 in US? if she entred H1 in US then she can extend her H1 as she has not hit 6 years
