My company is about to file for the labor certification. Our company has many offices around the nation and I am currently based out of Boston and that's where my H1-B was filed. Now it seems that processing time for LC is very long for Boston and I have been advised by a collegue to change offices and get listed in Chicago so that I can get my LC much sooner since their processing time is much faster. Is this a smart move, could I run into complications in the future because I am listed in the Chicago office but live in Boston, or will my H1-b become invalid or something.. I need to act on this now so I would greatly appreciate any feedback... Thanks a lot folks....

LC or LCA?

LCA can list multiple metro areas and should not matter where the h1 applicant lives.
LC (for GC) can be applied from any legitimate office address.
