I need suggestion on H1B and Advance Parole.

I applied my AP when I filed my 485, but I am working on H1B visa and travelled on H1B and came back, I got new H1B visa and planning to revalidate it.

1)If I revalidated my H1B, if I am on AOS, is there any problems?

2) I am not planning to apply for 2nd AP document, because I will get the new visa in couple of months insted of waiting for AP document up to 7 months?

3)Or do I need to file my AP document even if I hold my H1B Visa?

I am in the same boat as you. You can use either one without any problem. Just make sure yoiu don't use EAD to work (using EAD will invalidates the H1B). I would suggest you go ahead and re-validate your H1 instead of going thru the circus of AP. You should not have any problem revalidating H1 visa even if you have I-485 pending.

I agree with the reply one can revalidate H without any problems with 485 application.The only important thing is that when u fill the visa application form for revalidation say yes to the question--has any one fillede for immigrant petition on ur behalf.
I got my H revalidated 2 years back when my 485 was pending if u have all the reuired documents mentioned in there web site u will get ur visa stamped without any problem takes about 3 months to get the PP back

You will not have any trouble revalidating your H1 as kidsdoc says. Regarding your 3rd question, you should apply and get your AP if you can afford to pay extra. I like the backup that AP provides. In case if you loose your job (I hope not!!), your H1 will become invalid for travel, and it might be a good idea to have AP for emergency travel during those situations.
