I have a family based application through my US citizen husband. We have filed for I-485, EAD and AP. All I have received so far is a yellow cash register receipt dated 4/26 with a 6 digit number on it. There was nothing else in the envelope. Is this my receipt #? What is the ND for my case and how can I follow up? Thank you very much in advance.

Thank u for your response. My application was filed @ NYC/Federal Plaza and as of today I still don\'t have any info regarding to my application. (no receipt, no letter, no 797....) Well, i\'ll let u know if i receive anything. Meanwhile thank u for your time and attention.
 
You will receive a I797 notice

a A-4 sized with librety statue embossed etc. as receipt. You should receive individual receipts for 485, AP and EAD.
You can get the receipt number in your cancelled check too.
Depending on the service center it takes from 45-90 days to get the receipt!
