I need help about my status. Currently I received approval for my I-130. April 17, I mailed I-485, 765 ... until now I haven't receive any notice from INS and the checks hasn't encashed yet and I'm worried. And also can I now work in another company (I'm under H1b before) now that my I-130 has been approved or do I need to wait for the approval of my I485?

Your question on working with another company has already been answered. Based on timelines of other people who have mailed I-485 package to Chicago lockbox, it is quite common to take 2 weeks or more to receive notices and checks to be cashed.
Could you please answer a couple of questions?
- Which service center did you file your I130 with?
- Did you change from consular processing to adjustment of status? Or did you not file I485 concurrently with I130 for some other reason?

Knowledge is such a powerful tool. And it's all right there at our tips.
All one needs to do is go to www.uscis.gov ... I'm amazed at how some people navigate through this process without proper knowledge.
You could have been more than halfway through the process now, with the EAD in your hands. But now, you've still only just begun.
