I Need help regarding withholding

Hi there,

My brother and I had been granted withholding by IJ last summer, and we obtained our EAD to work here in U.S. Now, we have slightly different circumstances compare to other people who posted about their withholding that why I came here to ask you guys, my sister is U.S citizen and my parents are U.S green card holder and they both already made petition for me and my brother to change my status to green card. My questions are:
- How long is the process going to be?
- Is my case strong enough to get my green card since I have my sister (who is U.S citizen) and my parents (who are green card holder) made petition for me and my brother?
- What's the next step should I do, I've been reading posts saying that only three ways to change status to green card:
1. dv lottery
2. company sponsorship
3. marry to U.S citizen.
Is my case strong enough without having one of those 3 things done?
I really appreciate any information and input. Thanks in advance.

I forgot one more thing, my aunt is married to native American, and I was told that He could sponsor me for greencard by filing I-485 document. I don't know if it's a correct information. At this point, I'm willng to try every legal way to change my withholdiing status. Thanks for helping me out.

Did you enter the U.S legally or illegaly? How old are you?
Your sister's us citizenship sponosor will take 11 years and your parents with a GC, depending on your age will take 5-6 years...Ifthey become U.S Citizen, depening on your age may take 1 year if you are under 21.

The 3 things you listed are all good if you can get those..however if you entered U.S illegaly, tthings are different..asylum is the only route.

Why did the IJ deny asylum but grant asylum?

wantmygcnow:
I'm 32 years old and my brother is 30, we entered U.S legally through student visa. We finished our education and decided to stay here for better future instead of going back to our country. My parents will become U.S citizen at the end of this year, now, from mother to sons, 5 to 6 years like you mentioned? Is the process still valid if I reside outside U.S?

thankful:
as far as I can remember, our lawyer said that our case is stronger for removal of deportation instead of asylum. Maybe that's why the judge denied our asylum.

Thanks for the response guys.
