I came to U.S. January 2002 with a visitors visa and I stayed here, I used to work illegally while i was out of status, and I am still working with a Tax ID Number, I been marry since 2008 and my husband became a US citizen this year, we getting ready to file i-130 and i-485 to adjust my status and i am applying for work authorization as well and in the application you need to provide your SSN or any number used, also they ask you to name where have u worked in the past 5 years, I done my taxes with my TIN and I always got pay with checks so I got taxes deducted from my checks. do you think they gonna run my SSN or TIN through IRS to see through my taxes if i have been illegally working? Should I write the places that I been working or just don't put it? And if they find out is my application gonna be denied and i could be deported? or ? we have a 2 year old boy, i really don't want any problems! Please help me! :(

Unauthorized employment is forgiven if you entered the US legally and are filing I-485 based on marriage to a US citizen.

Unpaid taxes (if any) are not forgiven by the IRS -- you will owe unpaid taxes to the IRS if you haven't been paying taxes. But you have been using your TIN to pay taxes, so that won't be a problem for you.

You can look forward to having a green card later this year. And it will be a 10-year card since you've been married for over 2 years.

?

So, I should write the places where i been working in the past 5 years? and add my income also? it wouldn't be a problem? and yes I have been paying my taxes with my TIN all along! Thanks

Like Jackolantern said you will be forgiven for working because you entered legally on a visitors visa and you are married to a US citizen. And yes you can write where you work. I was also worried about it and I consulted my lawyer and I wrote. They even asked me if I still work at the interview but I had a work permit by the day of the interview.
