Hi everybody. I am an international student. I will get my associate degree on this May and transfer to University for Bachelor degree. Does my status still valid?

Here is my problem. I total lost my I-94 without copy and my expired F1-VISA. However I have all information about depart or arrival such as: a stamp date on my I-20 when I arrived, flight number, valid I-20 to December 2010 (just renew it), and just got married for a week.

I went to the lawyer office and he helped my file for I-102 replacement lost/stolen I-94. But I only have his receipt not the USCIS receipt.:(

Could I use it for apply the Social Security number and renew my driver license?

One more thing, I don't know my I-94 expired or not. If yes so could I renew it after replacement? Do i being overstay now?:(

Please give me and advice.

look at your I-20 and see when it expires. Your status is tied to that date and you can easily request an extension if need be. If you ever find your I-94 card, you'll find that the entry stamp has D/S written on it, meaning "Duration of Study", which reflects whatever date on your i-20. You also must get a new I-20 issued by your new university, and make sure both I-20's (from the old and new universities) overlap one another, otherwise you'll be out of status for the duration of the gap.

Yes!!!I am going to apply the green card!however I want to get the SSN and my driver license first!! I already lost my I-94 and I remember it has D/S on my white I-94!

Each state is different in terms of documents needed in order to get or renew a drivers license.

According to the SSA you will need the I-94 in order to get a SSN. You might want to call them directly to see if they will accept a receipt of I-102 being filled.
