I missed the finger print time

My attorney sent fax inquiry to INS about my finger print, and INS sent fax to my attorney saying that my finger print was scheduled on 8/2/01, but I have never received the notice, nor did my attorney receive the courtesy copy of the notice. Apparently I missed the finger print time. Can I bring the copy of fax from INS to ASC and get the finger print done? Or can I go to local INS office and request a new finger print notice? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
