I married AC while i have a pending asylem case, may i file i-485?

call NSCS regarding your question. Typically cant file 485 if you came in illegaly. However husband should be able to file I-130 to begin your petition. Continue with your asylum case in the mean time.

Hire good attorney. It may be expensive but there no short cut. I will not depend upon message boards for such important things.
Do not call NCSC you may land into trouble if they use it in your proceedings.

--------------NCSC contractors are NOT lawyers, they will give wrong info, good lawyer needed for info.
