Well, First of all, let me apologize fpor using this board to answer an irrelavant topic.
Coming to the point, I am not able to understand the comparison between "Americans loosing jobs" and "slavery to BodyShoppers".
As a consultant, if you breach the contract committment [usually an 1 or 1.5 years] just for higher salary, then it is a mistake on consultant part.
But, if the the so called poor/small body shopper does not raise the salary [as per the scales agreed] within that period, consultant has every right to leave him. Some people arguably say that one to request the bodyshopper to get the increment/raise, which is not fair. Also, 99% of the bodyshoppers promise a lot [GC etc] but do not fulfill their promise, which is also incorrect.
Consultant is perm employee for the bodyshopper, so whether he places the consultant with or not, consultant must be paid salary [during contract period - that is what his promise is to file H1].
Once the contract period is over, then only mutual confidence should decide.
The worst part of these BS is [though everyone knows the fact, but it is fact], when they get more, they donot share [because he is an employee] but when they loose, they want their EMPLOYEES loose!!!
One thing is sure, regarding bonds/contracts. They are valid only if it is two-way. Bringing to USA cannot be a favour - it is a slavish thought. In business, no one does favour. But the thing is "Cheating can not be excused".
 
BTW, to express their feelings one need master ENGLISH, which is neither phonetic nor standardized. No doubt it is popular [due to colonial rule] but most of the countries [FRANCE, GERMANY, JAPAN etc] do very well without it.

Though nothing to do with this topic, let me present one more issue:
Some people are over-smart enough to praise this country and critisize their motherland[ be it china/india]. For every thing they argue/question "then why did you apply for GC bla bla bla..".
Remember, you need to be (work-wise)loyal to your employer and environment. But just because, you got the job - you can not ignore our parents and home. If so, even GOD can not pardon you. Remember "USA is your employer. You are given GC to stay and work here. It is like business. Give whatever you can and then expect/get right returns out of it. Your motherland is your HOME and parents. If we betry our ownland, there is no gurantee that we do not betray even USA if iis economy go down."
Blind loyalty makes us bonelss.
Faithfulness should be mutual and should not have boundaries

Sorry for my language. It is not that I do not communicate well. It is my poor typing skills which does not match with the thinking process. More over I had just a few secs Y\'day to put in. I should have checked before clicking the button but alas I screwd up. BTW I am getting 70% so I can not complain. You know language is said to be barrier of communications(you guys will be smart enough to figure out what I am saying). Not to boast, my scores are GRE 2380 GMAT 99%(Math 99% lang- 82% Comb -99%) TOEFL 629. Have double masters here. GPA 4.0 & 3.9. All with my broken english :-)

well your degree is not being reflected from your comments on this board. reputable instituion in NY? what makes you think everybody else is not as good or better than you? Most of the guys I know having MBA from Sterns are pretty average in their work.
I have a MS degree from Stanford,, ( didn\'t expect this huh?? )

I don\'t know what Rapidigm is. Definitely I am not a recruiter. But one interesting thing I found from this posting is that Rapidigm can retain great employees like

(1) mukund sarangapani : Exceptional background with two US Masters
(2) sweetie - MS from Stanford University
(3) final stage - MBA from reputable institution in NY

Guys, what is the secret of Rapidigm in retaining these great resources who were supposed to work at least in Big 5 ?
