Hello everyone! I have my naturalization interview on August 3, 2004 in Garden City, NY. I just realized that I can't find the interview letter that I have to bring with me. I called the customer service center and they told me to go to Federal Plaza in New York City. I went there today and the clerk told me that they cannot give me another one and I should just go to my interview without the letter. I just do not believe this is possible! Did anyone have this problem and is there another way to get the letter? Or can you walk in to that office without the letter?

Thanks!!

Hi Panthere,
I guess you didn't get any letter or written statement from Federal Plaza stating that you had been to Federal Plaza for a duplicate interview letter, and since they cann't issue a duplicate one, you still can appear for the interview. It would be good if they would give you that letter. Anyway, since there are no ohter option I think you should take a chance going there with out the letter. Don't forget to share your exp with us. Also can you please share your time line. I am also from NYC, and waiting for interview. My time line is
PD 7/03
FP 8/03
Int: still waiting

Thanks
