So my EAD was approved, I got that general email saying that I'll get it as soon as it's ready!!!

Such a HUGE relief. My RFE really didn't affect it too much. This means that all of you guys with a received notice around mine should be getting it soon too.

YAY!! :D

I'll keep you guys updated... oh I should change my signature too =)
 
Congrats :) Where do you live that everything went that fast ? Congrats again and hopefully mine will be just as quick :)

Hi Patty,

Me too, I just received my EAD today.

I received the email saying it is approved on the 6th and today the 10th I received another email saying its has been mail out on the 9th and when I check my mail, viola my new shiny EAD card. Yay !

I wish it was me, but it was Payala who got her EAD approved...
Sigh... reallllly wish it was me, though. :D
 
Congrats on getting your EAD payala, hopefully i'll be getting mine anytime now :D we have our AOS interview on the same day too..fingers crossed for us both!

That really is fast, sounds great. BTW when do you receive a notice for the Interview date? does it usually come together with the EAD or after?

I guess you recieve a notice for the interview when the NBC has completed processing. Its weird that so many people here have different wait times though. My interview notice came from Lee's Summit, MO, is that normal?

And to answer your other question, I have yet to receive my EAD. I can't complain though, the interview is the most important thing.
 
That is definitely a great relief. My RD is 3/1/06. Today is my day 72. I'm still waiting for my EAD!!!! And it's 8 days after Payala & eadhelp and 14 days after toro168. That really means a lot to me. Thank you guys! Congratulations to all of you!!!! Everyday, I really hope I will receive that surprising and wonderful email. Good luck to you all!

UnionJax, don't worry, your's will arrive soon enough, you're RD and ND are only 1-2 weeks after mine.

Patty, I really think the RFE didn't delay it that much, I think they will approve your EAD as soon as they receive your birth certificate.

Chaimdan: I received my interview letter last monday and the email confirming the approval of my EAD yesterday, so no, they do not come together. I thought the EAD usually got approved before getting an interview date but I guess it can vary.

Poohsmoom: Thanks! Where you able to send back all your paperwork with the checks and stuff?

EADhelp: We've been worrying for nothing!!...well I shouldn't say anything till we actually get the card in the mail.

I just wanted to update that today I received an email saying that the approval notice for my EAD was mailed to me.

Is this approval notice the actual EAD?

It is the actual EAD. There is no separate approval notice for the EAD :)
 
I just received my EAD card today!!!

We can finally update our address. We didn't wanna take any chances till I got the EAD, so we still had my in-laws address with CIS.

SO happy!!
