i just cant beleive this-kcc lost my ds230?

i just called kcc and they told me that they received just dsp 122 and photo and that they never received ds 230.i sent ALL forms and photo in ONE envelope on 16th june.i really dont know whats happened.is it possible that staff in kcc lost that forms.i cant beleive this.when i spoke to kcc women today, she told me that i need to fill ds 230 again and send it again to kcc by mail or email so they can continue with proceedure.i should have an interview in december but now i dont know what will happen.somebody knows for how long, this situation will delay my interview?

I can not tell you how long your interview will delay but I am sure that you have to send your DS230 as soon as possible. After that call them again and ask your question about your interview date.
 
this is unfortunate things that might happened :-( i would sent ones more ds 230, but in the same envelop i would write some notes why you are doing this ones more time, the people who going to opened this envelop will be "satisfied" by this step. but agian, it is up to you. i would send it as soon as i can, because the long pathway still needs to be completed in the future. it is difficult to predit possible delay in interview...it might be not delayed at all :)

In my case, I made a mistake in form DS230 and after explaining that to the KCC they asked me to resend the forms again with correct information, so I did it. But at the Consulate for my interview in the begining of this November 2005, the consular officer disqualified me! she said that I've sent submission!!! Up till now, I have no solution, and they don't give me any chance to explain.

I know my case is diferent from yours, but be carefull.

Iam a winner of DV2006. Even I did the same, I did a mistake in the DS230 form, So I called KCC, & I sent the all forms again.

The mistake I did was, I put 'N/A' for the petitioner's name & address.
So I resent the forms with this information.

Can you pls tell me, What is the mistake you did?

And as per my case number, my interview should be in January. What I should do to prevent any mischances.

Hi,

My mistake was: I write the year of birth of my wife in the place of mine. And in the first DS230 forms I said that my daughter will travel later. But I changed my mind and decided to travel with her.
what I'll advice you is to be ok! For me as any lottery is a mater of chance. And what i understood is that the Consular officers are "free" to give / refuse the visa!! And KCC can't do anything for you once they transfer your case to the US embassy.
Don't be afraid, they are very kind for the interview, but they are not "sensibles" even if you pay all the fee, they don't mind! they can reject your case for a little/big mistake.
Just pray and trust in God.
