A lady picked up my call. and asked me if my I-485 was filed in Service center or Regional center. and asked me what is was based on. and she read the stupid-unchanging message. and she told me the vsc official processing date, Feb 15, 2002.

all i have to do is just WAIT.... for 2FP or APPROVAL OR whatever it comes up...

ND 9/12/2002 (not sure)

1FP 11/4/2002 recieved by VCS

Last update 12/19/2003 accorting to my potofolio in BCIS.

Sorry to hear about your situation and anxiety, but would suggest to save these calls to USCIS for later. Not discouraging you, but you have a long way to go.
People as early as Nov/Dec 2001 are still waiting. People with RD's August/Sept 2002 approved last month were random cases. You have to be too lucky or three lucky to be in that slot.

munnabhai02 - did you ever contact any body for your FP2 or any thing? I am in similar situation wondering what is happening.

RD - 2/14/02
ND - 3/5/02
FP1 - 5/26/02

RFE - Aug 23, 03 and replied received on Oct 15, 03

No FP2 or AD yet...

I did contact senator 2 times.
Lawyer sent 2 queries to USCIS.
I called 3 times in 5 months for an update.
Somehow got RFE, but still no 2nd FP.
My RFE is also very complicated. Salary is 1/4th of what mentioned in LC.
So keeping fingers crossed.
At this point nothing you can do except contacting Senator again if applicable. Cannot predict anything.

My message is beeing the same for the last 15 months...

My ND is Feb/15/2002
But my case was transferred from VSC to NYC office 15 mo. ago.
I am still waiting for FP2 and approval.
3 EADs.
 
munnabhai02 - Thanks for your reply. I guess I will have to follow it up. My lawyers did send an enquiry but no reply for that yet.
