I submitted I-485 but my 6months I-94 just expired while I-485 is still pending. Should I apply for extension of I-94. Actually, what is my status right now.
Help will be really appreciated.

Do you mind providing full details of your case, you filed I-485? When did you get married? When did you file your I-485? When did you arrive in the US?

No extension required, you will just wait for your AOS interview, besides you don't have your I-94 anyway, you had to send it off with your I-485.
Your overstay beyond the date of your authorized stay on I-94 is "Protected" by virtue of your I-485 filing, since you married a USC even if you would have overstayed by months and then gotten married, you still would have been allowed to adjust status.

namechecvictim is correct. But there are certains question which might come up at your AOS interview which i think you should be aware of

Did you know you wife/husband before coming to U.S?

You said you entered in May so the question is when did you guys meet and when did you started dating?

Its just only a guess but if you guys only know for 3 or 4 months when you guys decided to marry ? rightaway?

If USCIS get a little hint about the intent of immigrating to U.S on a tourist visa you can get in trouble, which i hope not.
These are just question coming into my mind which i hope you wont have to go through all this.
