i have an interwiev soon 20 days but no last envelope

Hello guys,

You made and make a good job here
I live in Canada BUT We are born in Europe.
so i have a interview at beginning of may but i don t have you know the 2trd
envelope , just 20 days left

I have already almost all documents ready
I know i have to do medical analyses
I
So in this case what should i do ?
 
it has been discussed here quite a bit. You don't need the invitation letter, if you know your interview date. Do your medicals, collect all necessary docs, and go for the interview. I assume it's in Canada.

Ok well the thing is that you don’t necessarily need the second letter. There is nothing new in it. It does not contain anything that will be critical to your visa application.

The one thing that you may need from it is a list of the registered immigration doctors for your country of CP.
In my case the US embassy in Ireland does not have a list of the doctors on their web site. I have obtained the list from another DV applicant. Some other countries publish the list of doctors on their web sites.

As long as you know your case number you can find out your interview date. You can find out exactly what documents you need from this forum so get them ready and go to your interview. You will be just fine.

You should call KCC and ask them to send the second package as an email attachment. I read in this forum that KCC does that. The only thing that you need from the second package is the letter with your interview invitation because otherwise the embassy might not let you in.
 
I am in the same situation, my interview is first week in May yet no 2nd NL! I have done all the preparations (thanks to these forums) and have everything ready for the interview.

The only thing which concerns me is the cover letter is needed to pass through security at Sydney consulate. I guess if KCC will email 2nd NL it should be ok...but I thought the 2nd NL came from the US Consulate you have nominated for your interview?
 
no, the 2nd package comes from KCC. As I said, others have received their 2nd package by email as well. Good luck!
 
We received the 2nd NL today...but my hubby (as the primary applicant) is listed on the paperwork, but not me! Shouldn't they have my name on there also?

We married in September 07 and I sent in my application (DS230 Pt I & II) and hubby's amended DS230 Pt I in December 07.
 
Neena59, my wife is the principle winner, and both her and my name were listed on the papers of the 2nd letter. Call KCC and make sure they have not forgot to enter your information in their system.

I don't think so. And why would you do that? The second letter is not that important. Once your number is listed as being current in the advanced notification section (better wait a few days after the bulletin is out), send KCC an email and ask about your interview day. The only information that you need from the 2nd package is the list of doctors, and you can always ask your embassy about that (it might even be on their website). You also need the invitation letter to be let into the embassy. However, as I've posted before, if you don't get the letter, KCC can send you the second package as email attachment.
As long as you keep track of the visa bulletin and you therefore know, when your interview is, there's really nothing to worry about.
 
Thanks Masoud, I will fax US Consulate Sydney as they have all my paperwork now that I have received the second letter from KCC.

Also thanks to Igmu, your advice regarding KCC emailing the second letter calmed me down. I know I still had a while before the interview but it was nice to finally receive it.
 
I faxed the US Consulate in Sydney with my updated details (marriage to principal applicant) and received an email today letting us know they will send out a new notification letter with my name included. Yay!

I also have to obtain a Canadian Police Certificate...another 120 day wait until mine arrives, so if we are successful in the interview we probably won't get our visa until mid August when my Police Cert arrives. We will be cutting it close.
 
i had same situation just i called them to send the second package as an e-mail attachment and got it during 3 business days.:)
