Yes, friends.
Finally, the moment has come.
Two hours ago I got the stamp in my passport. Three year ordeal is over.

Interview was straight-forward and simple. Asked for employment letter, tax returns, bank statemens, rental lease, daughters BC etc to prove marriage. The officer was very friendly and never even read any of the documents that we provided. The whole thing was over in an hour. Big relief. Hasnt sunk in yet. First thing I am doing after coming home was to make this posting.

I appreciate all of you support and advice. Thanks for bearing with me during my ups and downs with this process. We have a very good support network here with this forum.

Did you get a list of documents you need to take with you for
the interview? Or did you take all your documents?
Did the officer kept the copies of documents you provided at the
interview?

Sept13! We did not get a list of documents from the interview letter. That letter(both mine and my wife's) mentioned just the letter of employment.

The list was suggested by my lawyer and also researched by me(with some help from the forum)

Obviously they were expecting more than what they had mentioned in their letter.

Strange ways.

On the other hand the officer didnt even glance @ any of the stuff we provided her with.

Yes they expect photo copies of all documents, since they file all the paper work that you take there.

Spl thanks to you and SD1963 for all the pep-talk after I was shocked at my local transfer. But for you guys, this last one month would have appeared longer.
